I was in Alhambra and saw the most beautiful lace words. I decided to paint randomly what I found beautiful.
One day - some years after, I wanted to include the artwork in an exhibition. And I thought - what did it really say? I contacted one imam in Norway to ask. Sent a picture and asked what it said. No answer. I the contacted all the imams in Oslo - no answer. Then I contacted the embassy in Norway - No answer. THEN I contacted the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs - and got the answer "The text you reproduce on the picture means "God's curse" and presumably it continues "...over the unbelievers". Since you do not want misunderstandings to arise, we will assume that the choice of this passage may not be entirely optimal." OK I did not exhibit the art because that would draw too much attention away from my other work. I know a very wise man that had told me that the biggest difference between Christianity and the religions are the mercy of God. So I got a teacher in Hebrew to write "God is Mercyful", and this is the result. I actually like this painting a lot, but have not had the stomach to show it. Here is the first painting - and the changed one.
Congratulations. My Painting today. Cocky recovery.
Thought that would be proper!
What els can I do these days - than repost this one: please clic to see the final result - and why:

I got a gift from a beautiful girl in Japan. Wonderful handmade paper. I have, to her honor, painted two dancing cranes. The papir has two leaves together, to let you see that it is better to be together. Cranes have a wonderful symbolism. Honor, good fortune, loyalty, and longevity. They also are said to carry the dead to their afterlife. And they are family-birds that stays together. So this little picture is full of LOVE
